This project was a real but exciting challenge,  Local scaffold service had all RAMS approved materials on site and labour erecting scaffold within the 48hours.

One of the HGV’s fridge unit had a electrical fault which escalated into a full on furno, devastating a total of 10 HGV’s and trailers –  leaving total carnage.  Tony Naylor, who works direct for sainsbury’s was in charge of the project and called LSS to erect a independent scaffold 55m x 10 lifts to create a barrier from the outside elements, while internal work was carried out. £15million was the cost of this fire damage. Even though we were based over 120 miles from site, Tony knew exactly what he was getting with us.

Domestic Access Tower

We ([email protected]) surveyed the job, and assisted Mr Tony Naylor from A.R. Naylor & Sons’s LTD (Based in Rotherham) to help Sainsbury’s and DHL with the programme of works by suggesting a number of valid option  One of them was to install a 350kg hoist which would be a massive benefit in completing there tight schedule in time for the Christmas rush.  We also advised to conduct the programme in a sequence of works, this allowed DHL to continue with there operations with minimal disruption.  Sainsbury and DHL, delighted.

First phase completed a week early, Tony Naylor, Sainsbury’s and DHL delighted as the area of temporary works is so precious to them.
